  7. This is version 2.7 of my FastWaitBlit patch, which
  8. speeds up multi-tasking, and so isn't too benchmark-able.
  9. You *May* experience lower benchmarks on certain graphics
  10. operations in (for example) AIBB, but if you run lots of
  11. tasks, and your main task isn't too graphics-intense, then
  12. you won't wait around as much.

  14. People have told me that my patch isn't as fast as *Art's
  15. FasterBlit patch, the reason for this, is that my patch
  16. works in a different way to *Art's. His increases graphics
  17. performance, and mine increases multitasking performance.
  18. Take your pick.

  20. Or, you can run the Non-DMA version of my patch in conjunction
  21. with *Art's FasterBlit, which will use an optimised version
  22. of the graphics library WaitBlit() function, without my
  23. dynamic DMA (tm) idea.
